I used a york rake after initial clearing, worked well. After the excavator got done digging out stumps I switched to a landscape box to move dirt around and get to roots. Broke my old grey market kubota though, now I be a John Deere man :) see above.

I just bought a JD 790. Check into it before you get the 4100, it's only a little more money but a lot bigger. 6'4
